This one always tops my list when it comes to freewares. This less-than-1mb utility indexes all the files on your computer and you can pin it on your task bar to find any file throughout your computer whenever you need it.
It is so fast & has loads of options to filter your searches. You can search for particular kind of files (e.g. audio files, video files, documents or .mp3, .avi, .doc etc) as well as all files. You can also set match criteria (i.e. match path, match the case, match exact word etc) or sort the files by various parameters.
Once you start using it, you will never have to bother again to find any file on your computer, no matter how deep it's hidden!
One might wonder why to use this when you already have F3 on your keyboard & search option in your Windows.
The answer is:
